Your photos will be delivered to your email with a link to your online gallery. From there, you can download your photos with the provided password, share the link with friends/family, share to social media, and order prints. Click here to see an example of what your online gallery will look like.

Once a gallery is ready, you will receive an email with a link to your online gallery. We use a website that is a useful and convenient way for you to view, download and share your photos. Your gallery link also provides a storefront that offers a variety of printing options ranging from digital downloads, standard prints, retouched prints, canvases, and products. Orders are processed through Mpix which ensures the best color and quality printing.

Yes! Many, MANY hours are spent going through EACH photo that is captured, selecting the very best from our session. Each photo is then hand-edited, adjusting what is needed to take the photo from good to great. I do NOT do any bulk editing or mass-producing using presets that are just copy and pasted. I make sure to take my time with your photos so that they will be family heirlooms for years to come.

No, I do not. I eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. For example, because I shoot with low apertures, sometimes I take a few extra shots to make sure I have the perfect focus. I don’t expect you to have the expertise or the time to zoom into each image to select the one with the sharpest focus, so I spend hours doing that on my end. In another example, candid laughs and emotional tears are some of the best images from the day. Unfortunately, they can also yield some unflattering facial expressions. I might snap a few extras of any of these moments to make sure I have a great shot with the ideal expression for the moment.

This all depends on the session that you book. On average I usually tell people to expect between 35-40 photos for an hour session and 15-20 photos for a mini session. I will always do my best to deliver as many photos as I can from our session together.

Once a gallery is delivered you will get a print release that gives you the rights to print and share your photos as you wish. Many people get this release confused with “Copyright.” Copyright simply means that Studio 8412 took the photo and that the rights of the photo belong to the photographer. I do ask that if you share your photos on social media that you give Studio 8412 Photography credit.

Yes! I love the outdoors and the crazy adventures that we get to go on. Whether it is playing in the snow to throwing rocks in the creek to walking through the pumpkin patch, there is no shortage of adventures to be had throughout the year. That being said, I also have a studio building that gives me the flexibility of offering indoor sessions as well. This is especially ideal for newborns, milestones and first birthdays.

The deposit amount varies per session. For example for a First Year package the deposit is $150 while the deposit for a family session is $50. The deposit is to save your date and is non-refundable. It is applied to the final amount which is due the day of the session, unless otherwise specified. Failure to show up for you agreed upon time, forfeits the deposit.

You will receive an invoice for every session scheduled in which payment details will be given. Accepted forms of payment are cash, check and Venmo at venmo.com/studio8412. If requested PayPal can be accepted, ONLY if payment is sent following the agreed upon method.

While I am ALWAYS adding to my inventory of props that I have available for sessions, I have created an album on my Facebook page where I have posted a few pictures of some of the things that I have available. I have spent several years investing in props so I have LOTS available. You can view the album here. However, when planning your session, if you have a question about a prop that you don’t see posted, don’t be afraid to ask! I have lots of other things in my “stash” that I don’t have pictured and who knows, I might have what you are looking for!

Yes! First Birthday Smash and Splash, “The Original” First Birthday, and Cake Smash Minis all come with a special smash cake option made by Simply Thyme Homestead! You will be sent a list of designs available and you choose the design, colors and flavor of the cake. If you want s special design to match your birthday theme, this is available for an extra $15.
